The idea behind this two-day course is to cover a variety of Millinery techniques and learn the processes involved in hat making. You can work with a few fabrics and develop your skills further in the blocking and finishing process. The student has enough time to make a hat to a couture standard and adorn it with beautiful trimmings.
If you would prefer to focus on headpieces rather than blocking then we can cover other aspects such as bias brims, curling feathers, attaching trimmings and other techniques you are keen to learn. This course gives you a good two days to enhance your millinery knowledge, explore and develop your skills further.
Establishing what can be covered
