This course will cover advanced techniques
This is an advanced course that will teach you the process of making a bias brimmed hat.
You will learn the concept of making a bias strip, how to manipulate it to create a structural brim and how to attach it to a crown, so that it can be worn as a hat
All online courses will be delivered via Microsoft Teams
We will be in touch, ahead of your agreed course date, and provide you with a private video link
Any further video sessions will be arranged in the same way
Choose a base material for the crown
This can be either 2 meters of Sinamay or 1 parasisal cone
For the bias brim you will need 2 meters of Mesh Sinamay
You will also need millinery wire, an Alice band, a comb to suit you and a trimming of your choice
