This one day workshop is focused on using an alternative material other than sinamay, felt or straw. Using buckram as a sturdy foundation you will begin to learn and understand the different techniques involved, giving you an edge to your millinery work. Throughout the day you will be guided through the process of blocking buckram, interfacing, attaching pleats of silk and making a couture lining which you are then shown how to stitch into your button creating a beautiful one of a kind piece.
