Our Basane Veg Tan leather comes from a French process of tanning sheep hide. It is fully Aniline (vegetable-tanned in France - a process that allows the leather to retain its natural richness) and is a perfect choice and weight for costume manufacture.
Regarding sales quantities, for illustration purposes, we have given examples of a full, half and quarter skin. We have shown an average size in the guide image. Please note, they do vary as it is a natural product.
