Curtain buckram is used instead of curtain tape to create semi-rigid curtain headings which are perfect for pleated curtains. Our range of curtain buckram is available in both sew-in or iron-on options with the double-sided fusible buckram the ideal choice for handmade curtain headings and tie-backs. For short to standard length curtains our medium weight buckram is the perfect choice, while our heavier weight curtain buckram is a great match for longer curtains or more structured pleats. Choose from 10cm, 12.5cm or 15cm (4”, 5" or 6”) widths to suit your project needs. All our curtain buckram is available to buy either by the meter or in fixed length rolls.

Make your job easier with our range of fusible buckram which can simply be ironed onto your curtain fabric reducing the need to sew. For heavier fabrics or long curtains we’d recommend using sew-in heavyweight curtain buckram as it offers a stiffer finish.
